  • Account Information: Name, email address, and profile photo (through Google Sign-In or manual entry).
  • Relationship Data: Information that establishes your connection with your partner (Partner ID, relationship start date).
  • User Content: Love letters, chat messages, mood statuses, drawings (canvas), photos, and other content you share with your partner.

B. Usage and Device Information

We automatically collect certain information when you access the app:

  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (e.g., for notifications).
  • Usage Data: Traffic data, logs, and other communication data related to your use of our app (through tools like Firebase Analytics and Sentry).

C. Payment Information

If you make in-app purchases (e.g., Premium subscription), your payment is processed by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play Store (Android). We do not store your credit card information or financial data. We only receive transaction receipts and subscription status from our payment processor (Adapty).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To Provide Our Service: To match you with your partner, deliver messages/content, synchronize real-time mood updates, and store your relationship memories.
  • To Improve Lovelet: To analyze usage trends, fix bugs (using Sentry), and improve user experience.
  • To Communicate With You: To send push notifications (e.g., "Your partner sent you a kiss", "New message") and important service updates.
  • To Manage Subscriptions: To verify your Premium status and unlock paid features.

3. Data Storage and Security

Secure Infrastructure

Your personal data and relationship content are securely stored using Supabase (Database & Authentication) and Firebase (Media Storage). We rely on these platforms' industry-standard security measures.

Data Protection

  • Encryption: All data transfers between your device and our servers are encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security) technology.
  • Access Control: We implement strict Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure that your private data (messages, letters) is accessible only by you and your partner.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our app:

  • Supabase: For backend database, authentication, and edge functions.
  • Firebase (Google): For analytics, remote config, and media storage.
  • Sentry: For error tracking and crash reporting.
  • Adapty/RevenueCat: For managing in-app subscriptions.

These third parties are obligated to keep your information confidential and use it only for the purposes we specify.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can do this directly from the app settings ("Delete Account" option). Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our active databases.

Access and Correction

Opt-Out of Notifications

You can manage your push notification preferences from your device settings.

6. Children's Privacy

Lovelet is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy or through in-app notifications.
