Account Deletion Instructions

At Lovelet, we believe in giving you full control over your personal data. If you decide to stop using Lovelet, you can easily delete your account and all associated data directly from the application.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your messages, letters, shared canvases, photos, and relationship data will be deleted immediately and permanently from our active databases and servers.
Steps to Delete Your Account (In-App)
- Open the Lovelet app on your device.
- Navigate to the Profile tab by tapping the rightmost icon in the bottom navigation bar.
- Tap the Settings (gear icon) button in the top right corner of your Profile screen.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen to find the 'Delete Account' section.
- Tap on 'Delete Account'. A confirmation dialog will appear warning you about the data deletion.
- Tap 'Delete' to confirm. Your account and data will be permanently deleted and you will be signed out.
What happens to your data upon deletion?
When you request account deletion:
- Your personal profile info (name, email, profile photo) is deleted immediately.
- If you are currently paired in a couple, the relationship link is broken and all shared data (chat logs, love letters, drawings on shared canvas) is deleted.
- Your credentials and account record are removed from our authentication systems.
- No backup copies of your private user data are retained.
Alternative Deletion Request (Web/Email)
If you are unable to access the app or wish to request deletion manually, you can contact us at info@lovelet.app. Please make sure to send the request from the email address associated with your Lovelet account. We will process your deletion request within 7 business days.
